One man was fined after a large gathering at a house in Paisley was broken up by police. 

Officers with police dogs were called to the home in Springbank Terrace around 12.30am on Sunday morning. 

A video by @JATV_Scotland shows a large number of vehicles parked outside, with revellers spread across the front yard.

Up to 100 people allegedly joined in on the 'house party', before being instructed to disperse by the police. 

Mass gatherings are still restricted under the Scottish Government's Covid-19 guidelines and are not expected to be allowed until we enter phase four of easing lockdown. 

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "Police received a report of a large gathering at a property in Springbank Terrace, Paisley around 12.30am on Sunday, 12 July, 2020.

"Officers attended, gave advice and the group dispersed.

"A 29-year-old man was issued with a fixed penalty notice.”
