A MAN armed with a house brick was arrested in the town centre in the early hours of Sunday.
Police were called to Winwick Street shortly after 2.30am yesterday after Warrington Borough Council CCTV operators spotted him carrying the brick ‘apparently intent on causing harm to others’.
Hemen Mohamadzadeh has since been charged with possession of an offensive weapon in a public place and affray in connection with the incident.
The 22-year-old, of no fixed address, is due to appear before Warrington Magistrates Court later today, Monday, in order to face these charges.
