A COUNCILLOR has called for action after the incident at the Dockle on Friday evening.
Ward councillor for Stratton St Margaret Russell Holland said: “Stratton is a great area, and fortunately, instances like this are extremely rare.
“Obviously, I’m very sorry it has happened, and I hope lessons will be learned and appropriate actions will be taken.”
Queue jumpers got involved in verbal abuse with another group of men who were sat in the beer garden, and is believed to be known to them.
Coun Holland added: “I think there would need to be some discussion with the Dockle Farmhouse and the police to review this properly and then appropriate steps can be taken.”
An 18-year-old man was taken to hospital with a head injury.
