A GRADUATE has used his TV experience to create a video for a local charity that he credits for helping him get into college.
City of Glasgow College student, Marc Harvey, is celebrating after being awarded a 2:1 BA (Hons) degree in Television.
The 21-year-old, from Royston, became involved with local charity, Royston Youth Action, when he was 10 years old and put together a video explaining what supports it offers.
He said: “The club is there to help the local community and families. I used to go there at the weekends. They do a lot to support young people, and have certainly helped shape me into the person I am today. Without their help I may not have got into college.”
Sharon Kelly, who is the Manager at Royston Youth Action, said: “The video Marc compiled for us has been a massive help.”
