FIREFIGHTERS were called to a supermarket car park yesterday after a car went up in flames.
The crew from Warminster went into action in the car park of the town's Lidl yesterday afternoon.
A fire services spokesman said: "At 1:38pm the Warminster crew was in attendance at a car fire in the Lidl car park.
"The crew fought the fire with two hose reels and wearing two sets of breathing apparatus."
A police spokesman said: "Officers were alerted to a vehicle fire in Lidl car park at 13.45. Thankfully, fire crews were on scene within mintues of the blaze taking hold and nobody was hurt. There was some minor traffic disruption to the area for a short time."
