CORSHAM Creative Market has returned after five months and it's bigger and better than before.

Organiser Nicola Davis was delighted to bring it back and getting to see new and regular customers return.

She said: "It went really well on Saturday, in the first 20 minutes we had 100 visitors come in which was amazing.

"People just kept coming in throughout the day, it was busier than what we were at the start of the year by far because everyone wanted to come back, they all really missed it."

The event runs every month but had to be put on hold after lockdown was announced in March.

"It was really disappointing to hear we couldn't run it anymore because there wasn't anything I could do about it," she said.

"It wasn't only difficult for me but I heard from a lot of stallholders that they were really missing us and that they were quite lonely. We've all got to know each other over the last five years that I've been running it so it was quite difficult for all of us."

Nicola is not only the founder but also has her own stall where she sells her silk paintings.

Other businesses like hers also rely solely on what they sell so lockdown did have a financial impact too.

she said: "I've been checking up on everyone who usually has stalls at the market and some of them have gone from strength to strength.

"They used the time they had to make new products and some learned how to sell online instead. But some did struggle through lockdown."

Its next event will be on October 3. For more information go to www.facebook.com/corshamcreativemarket
