POLICE have issued new CCTV footage after a Post Office was raided by robbers armed with a knife and CS gas.

The branch on Longshaw Street in Dallam was targeted during a robbery at around 8am on Wednesday, September 2.

Two unknown males entered the premises and demanded money from the till, threatening a member of staff with what is believed to have been a knife and a canister of CS gas.

They then made off with a quantity of cash, fleeing on foot in the direction of Sankey Valley Park.

Cheshire Police had previously issued an image of two men wearing hi-vis jackets in connection with the incident.

“Our officers have been following several lines of enquiry in the local area and we are determined to track down the people responsible and bring them to justice.

“I would ask anyone who may recognise the males pictured in the CCTV to come forward.

“Also, I would urge anyone who may have seen anything around the Longshaw Street area at the time of the incident to get in touch.”
