Drivers escape unhurt in crash
TWO drivers escaped unhurt after a collision at the Wingfield crossroads near Trowbridge on Tuesday (September 22).
A Wiltshire Police spokesman said: “At 9.38pm on Tuesday we were called to a road traffic collision at the Wingfield crossroads, just outside Trowbridge.
"It involved a grey Vauxhall Astra and a silver Suzuki Swift.
“Nobody was seriously injured but the drivers of both vehicles were taken to the Royal United Hospital as a precaution.
“The road was clear by 11.40pm.”
