CHILDREN and their parents made the most of the last of the summer sunshine sitting on the lawns at St James Church in Trowbridge on Tuesday.
They attended a weekly Mini Melodies session, a lively music group for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers.
Each week, this includes songs, rhymes, movement, dancing and a musical retelling of a Bible story.
Organiser Tom Bullock, the children and families worker at St James’ Church, said: “Because of the Covid-19 pandemic, we are going outdoors where possible and indoors when the weather is wet or cold.
"The biggest change in our groups and activities is the need for social distancing meaning that we all need to stay two metres from people not in our family group/bubble.”
As well as being designed to support children’s musical development, the Mini Melodies sessions are great fun and are based around a new theme every six weeks, such as food, weather, and the jungle.
