BRATTON Primary School has a vacancy for a governor who could play a critical role in the school’s success and the success of its children.

Sarah Andrews, clerk to the governors, said: “No special qualifications are needed; the most important thing is to have a keen interest in the school and be prepared to play an active part in the governing body’s work.

“Being a governor will enable you to develop new skills, create strong links with the school community and influence the school’s vision and strategy for the future.

“By joining the governing body you can contribute to making decisions that have a huge impact on the lives of young people in your community as every governor has a role to play in helping make sure every young person gets the best possible education.”
