POLICE have appealed for witnesses to a theft of a bike and tools from an address in Chapmanslade.
On Thursday, September 24, at 4.30pm, a Carrera mountain bike and tools were taken from a bungalow.
The bike is silver with red features and a black seat, while the tools are a DE Walt XR drill and some building levels. A red bowser was also taken from the same location on an earlier occasion.
A black Mitsubishi 4x4 was seen entering a lane off the High Street that runs past the village hall and as the vehicle left the location, a male and a female were almost run over in the haste of the vehicle to leave the area.
Officers would like to speak to any witnesses, in particular the two people mentioned who may have information which could assist with the investigation or anyone who may have knowledge of the vehicle in question.
