A WOMAN has been taken to hospital after a three-car crash on the A419 southbound.
Emergency services rushed to the scene at 2.15pm this afternoon after a grey Land Rover Freelander, a black Audi A1 and a blue Vauxhall Agila crashed.
The incident caused the slip road at the Blunsdon junction to be closed.
Police, ambulance and fire crews were all called with one woman being taken to Great Western Hospital.
The cars have now been recovered and the road reopened.
