MARCO Pierre White Jnr, the son of the celebrity chef and Corsham hotelier, has appeared in court charged with theft from his father's hotel and breaching bail conditions in respect of other offences.

White, 25, of Rudloe Hall Hotel, Leafy Lane, was remanded on bail to December 16, after pleading not guilty to stealing a Nokia mobile phone worth £40 on March 31.

He admitted breaching parts of a suspended sentence order imposed by Bath magistrates on August 12, by failing to comply with a curfew and being absent from the curfew address on 15 occasions on nine different dates in September and October. He also admitted breaching a bail condition on October 3 and 5 not to enter the Rudloe Arms at Corsham, and was fined £50.

He was given the suspended 32-week sentence for two offences of possessing Class A drugs, two of making off without payment, four public order offences and six offences of theft. Under its term he must wear an electronic tag and remain at the hotel between 7pm-5.30am.
