These are some of the people who have appeared before magistrates courts in Salisbury and Swindon recently:

CHIPPENHAM: Joshua Brendon Moss, 26, of Little England, is charged with stealing clothing worth £865 worth from J D Sport, Trowbridge, on October 10, 2019. He was remanded on conditional bail to October 28.

TROWBRIDGE: Kyron Michael Denmark, 21, of Foxglove Drive, was fined £50 and detained in the courthouse after he admitted breaching supervision requirements after being released from prison. He had failed to reside at an approved address since September 25. He also admitted breaching a 7pm-7am curfew order on October 4.

The court re-granted him to conditional bail to appear at a Winchester Crown Court hearing on December 31. He will also have to observe a 7pm-7am daily curfew, be electronically monitored, and was ordered not to contact prosecution witnesses, not to go into Trowbridge town park, and to live and sleep each night in Foxglove Drive.

CHIPPENHAM: the court made an order to detain for a further six months £113,705 cash seized from Nina Kaur Tiara, 50, of Chosen Hill, Cleverton, on the grounds that it is property obtained through unlawful conduct intended for use in unlawful conduct.

SOUTHWICK: Michael Anthony Pang, 32, of Southwick Court, Frome Road, was fined £450 and banned from driving for 20 months after pleading guilty to a drink-driving offence on June 20 in Trowbridge. He was also fined £450, ordered to pay £85 costs and a £45 victim surcharge, and banned from driving for 20 months by the court sitting as Avon & Somerset magistrates after pleading guilty to a drink-driving offence at Wells on March 1.

MELKSHAM: Leigh Richard Parham, 41, of High Street, was ordered to pay £18.29 compensation and given an 18-month conditional discharge after pleading guilty to stealing meat worth £36.58 from Sainsbury’s, Trowbridge, on January 22. He was also given an 18-month conditional discharge after pleading guilty to stealing two bottles of spirits worth £29 from Tesco in Trowbridge on February 27.

He received a further 18-month conditional discharge and a £120 fine after pleading guilty to stealing packets of steak and four bottles of spirits valued at £120 from Sainsbury’s in Trowbridge on April 25.

WARMINSTER: Jason David Dillwyn Williams, 35, of East Street, was remanded on bail to November 28 after pleading not guilty to assaulting a woman in Warminster on August 9. He was ordered not to contact the woman, not to enter Sambourne Road, Warminster, and to live and sleep each night at his address in East Street.

DEVIZES: David James Cook, 38, of High Street, Wedhampton, received a 12-month conditional discharge and was told to pay £250 compensation after pleading guilty to damaging a front door worth £500 belonging to Aster Housing Association at Sheep Street, Devizes, on October 12.

TROWBRIDGE: James William Smith, 34, of Broad Street, pleaded guilty to eight offences of theft from shops this year. They included five offences of theft from Sainsbury’s on August 30, July 2, June 2, May 30, May 26; one offence of theft from Tesco on June 26, and two offences of theft from Asda on August 26 and August 21.

The total value of the spirits and perfume stolen was £1,594.76. He pleaded guilty on September 19 and was convicted. He also faces a charge of assaulting a woman in Trowbridge on July 2. No plea has been indicated.

CHIPPENHAM: Liam Craig Parsons, 22, of Ray Close, pleaded guilty to two drug-driving offences on London Road, Chippenham, on September 21 2019. He had more than the specified limit of cocaine and a cannabis-based controlled drug in his blood. He was convicted on March 2 2020.

DEVIZES: Emma Jane Ferris, 35, of Sheep Street, is charged with damaging a front door belonging to Wiltshire Police on March 5 in Devizes. No plea was indicated.

DEVIZES: Curtis William Hurricks, 36, of Westbury Road, Little Cheverell, is charged with a drink-driving offence at Edington on January 26. No plea was indicated.

MARLBOROUGH: Roland James Lock, 42, of Rudge Lane, Oare, is charged with a drink-driving offence at High Street, Pewsey, on March 4. No plea was indicated.

DEVIZES: Bradley Matthew Marlow, 27, of Massey Road, is charged with being unfit to drive through drugs at Massey Road, Devizes, on November 3 2019. No plea was indicated.
