MORE than 70 people from Westbury have taken part in a video film leading up to a virtual switch-on for the town's Christmas lights display.
It has been put together by Leander Morales, of GM3 Music, for Westbury Town Council and will be entered into a film festival next year.
Mr Morales said: "Over the past eight weeks, we've managed to pull together over 70 people to create a comedy/drama for the community, filmed with social distancing and Covid compliancy throughout."
Called The Curious Mystery of the Missing Magical Christmas Lights Switch On Button, the 40-minute film features council staff, councillors and members of the community acting out a screenplay.
They are surrounded by performances of music, dance and art from some of the town's talented artists all leading up to a grand Christmas Lights switch-on at 6pm on Saturday (November 28).
"Considering the vast number of people living in difficult circumstances, we are very proud to have pulled so many people together at a time in need."
