Swindon Magistrates Court
A NORTH Swindon woman is accused of pocketing more than £40,000 from her employer.
Helen Spencer, 39, of Pearson Road, Tadpole Garden Village, faces a charge of theft by an employee.
It is alleged she stole £41,298.82 from Scorpion Engineering Ltd, a vehicle recovery firm based in Kembrey Park, between February and December 2019.
Swindon magistrates sent the case to the crown court. Spencer, who was granted unconditional bail, will appear before Swindon Crown Court on December 23 for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
