Urchfont woman Ann Blundon has published her very first novel - in the form of Robin Helps the Bee.
The short children's book is inspired by a story she used to tell her grandson and has already sold more than 100 copies.
Illustrated by Sophie Gibb, it has been a way for Mrs Blundon to connect with family she has seen less than usual this year due to the pandemic.
Robin and the Bee also encourages children to think positively about the insect world.
She worked alongside illustrator Sophie Gibb on the book.
Mrs Blundon said: "Sophie was brilliant and pulled the drawings together so quickly.
"Robin and the Bee is my first novel, but I hope it won't be the last. I have three children, eight grandchildren and four great grand children, the youngest of which is only four months so I haven't been able to see this year.
"Robin and the Bee is based on a tale I used to tell me grandson so it does feel quite special."
Mrs Blundon sent a copy to David Attenborough who replied with a handwritten note.
In it, he wrote: "It is very kind of you to send in a copy of your book. I wish you great success."
Find Robin and the Bee at the Urchfont Community Shop, The Devizes Bookshop, the Corsham Bookshop or email anndawsonblunden@gmail.com. Robin Helps the Bee costs £4.95 and is an ideal stocking filler this Christmas.
