The Salvation Army in Trowbridge has received £2,000 from the Blair Charity.
Cllr Nick Blakemore, chairman, presented a cheque to Army leader Michala Lancefield.
A cheque was given as the usual distribution of vouchers by the Blair Charity at the Guide Hall was cancelled due to the pandemic.
The trustees unanimously agreed a donation to the local Salvation Army would be appropriate as the Blair Charity’s ethos is about helping the townsfolk of Trowbridge.
The Blair Charity hopes to resume vouchers in 2021.
