A female pedestrian has been rushed to hospital after a collision with a car in Devizes.
Emergency services were called to the scene, on Maryport Street, at 11.15am today (December 23)
The woman, 93, is recovering in hospital and the road is currently closed.
A police spokeswoman said: "We were called to reports of a collision on Maryport Street around 11.15am.
"The woman, from the Devizes area, had suffered suspected hip injuries, alongside possible internal injuries. She was taken to the Great Western Hospital, Swindon.
"The road was closed while emergency services dealt with the casualty. It will remain closed while a collision investigation is carried out.
"Anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or who may have dash cam footage, and hasn't already spoken with us is asked to call 101 and quote log 97 of today's date."
