TRAFFIC police have asked pilots if they’re missing an aircraft door – after one was found on the M4.
Wiltshire Police’s specialist operations department, which includes the roads policing unit, took to Twitter to appeal for the owner of the white door to come forward.
Officers Tweeted: “Unusual debris!...If the owner would like to come forward to collect it, please get in touch.”
The door, which is white with a clear glass window and yellow/grey stripes, was found in lane one of the M4 near Swindon on Saturday, January 9.
