DRIVERS in Warminster are being warned about the temporary closure of one of the town's main through roads.
Part of the B3414 Boreham Road from its junction with Imber Road to its junction with Woodcock Road is being closed to all traffic from 7am to 7pm for five days from February 15-19.
It will enable Wiltshire Council to carry out road resurfacing and associated works.
The alternative route around the roadworks is via the unaffected length of the B3414 to the A36 and vice versa.
The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.
The council said: "It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions.
"Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works."
