A Wiltshire pensioner has appeared before the courts accused of threatening another with an air gun.
Petra Kay, 72, is alleged to have used the imitation firearm in Semington last July to cause a man to fear unlawful violence would be used against him.
Appearing before Salisbury Magistrates’ Court on Friday afternoon, Kay, who gave a postal address of Church Street, Melksham, entered no plea to a single charge of possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.
The charge is so serious pleas can only be taken at the crown court.
Kay was granted unconditional bail to return to Salisbury Crown Court on March 26 for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
