WITH gyms set to fling their doors open in April, many of us will be itching to build back those abs and biceps after months of lockdown - but without breaking the bank.
As part of Boris Johnson's roadmap out of lockdown, gyms, indoor leisure centres and spas should reopen from April 12 at the earliest.
However, the Prime Minister stressed people must visit these facilities alone or with household groups, while group classes are unlikely to get the green light until May 17 at the earliest.
But, what gym memberships are the cheapest when you're ready to kickstart your fitness regime again?
The Journal has searched for the cheapest deals and this is what we've found.
Pure Gym
With 295 branches across the UK, Pure Gym's membership costs between £15 and £50 per month, including classes, according to MoneySavingExpert.com.
If you'd to pay as you go, day passes can be as low as £6 a day.
Joining fees can range from £5 to £30.
The Gym
The 24-hour chain currently has 187 sites spread across Britain, with membership costing anything from £13 to £33 per month - depending on the location.

The joining fee can be up to £25.
Better Leisure Centres
Gym memberships usually come in at under £30 a month at Better Leisure Centres.
You'll also have access to an additional 200+ gyms (a £3 fee applies).
