FIFTEEN artists, galleries and shops in Bradford on Avon have now joined a lockdown art window exhibition.

The initiative was launched back in January by local artist Tanya Achilleos Lock, owner of the Corner Gallery, and a finalist in the BBC Wildlife Artist competition.

The aim was to encourage walkers to browse the windows of local art galleries and craft workshops.

But the idea has really taken off with more businesses in Bradford on Avon and other towns such as Melksham joining in.

Tanya said: "We have had some lovely comments back from people. Everyone is putting in a lot of effort to change the windows weekly and keep it interesting for walkers.

"It's not all for sale, some from private exhibitions, it's to help cheer up the winter day with some sunny art.

"We hope that more people will join in as already we have created a great network and new friends in a time when you can't get out and meet people.

"When this is all over we will be having a big party down at the Tithebarn Gallery and Workshops for everyone who has joined in."
