POLICE in Warminster are trying to trace two men they wish to speak to in relation to a series of thefts.
They have released CCTV images of the two men and a vehicle they believed to be linked to crimes.
The incident occurred on Thursday, February 4 when it is reported that two suspects attempted to steal barrels of used oil from The White Hart Pub in Corsley at around 3.30pm.
They were confronted and fled empty-handed.
Officers believe that a blue Ford Transit van is connected to the incident and is linked to similar incidents in Mere at The Walnut Tree Inn in Shaftesbury Road and at Mere Fish & Chips in Church Street at around 2pm when two suspects attempted to steal barrels of used oil from the back of the shop.
A Wiltshire Police spokesman said: "Anyone who recognises the two people pictured or the vehicle and has any information which could assist us with our enquiries is asked to call us on 101 and quote crime reference 54210011289."
