Investigations are under way after a number of cars were tampered with.

Police are seeking information on the whereabouts and ownership of the burnt orange coloured Renault Captur pictured in this CCTV image after they received reports of several offences which took place overnight on Tuesday.

Officers in Blackpool say the offences included theft from motor vehicles as well as interference with motor vehicles.

The incidents are believed to have taken place between 5.30am and 7am on Tuesday and took place across Bispham and Norbreck.

A spokesperson for the police said: "Blackpool North neighbourhood team have been investigating a number of offences across Bispham and Norbreck, these include theft from motor vehicles and interference with motor vehicles.

"These offences took place between the hours of 5.30am and 7am on Tuesday March 2.

"We would like to hear from anyone who has had sightings, got CCTV footage or remembers seeing a burnt orange coloured Renault Captur between the hours mentioned.

"We are especially interested in obtaining information that could lead to identification of the number plate."
