A water rescue wading team from Trowbridge rescued a duck tangled up in fishing line.
Following a RSPCA request, the team from Trowbridge fire station were called out on Monday to the lake at Slag Lane in Westbury.
A mallard duck was seen struggling to stay afloat after its feet became tangled in fishing wire.
The firefighters are specially trained to enter water and work safely.The duck was safely rescued from the lake and handed to a RSPCA inspector.
