THE chief executive of GreenSquare Housing Association has pledged to respond to complaints from Trowbridge residents about maintenance of their housing estate area.
Ruth Cooke says the complaints by residents in the Castle Mead area of Trowbridge are being investigated.
In a response to emails from resident Simon Helps, Mrs Cooke said: "I am sorry that you have not had a response as yet; I understand that one is being prepared and will be with you shortly."
Residents on Castle Mead have complained on numerous occasions over several years about GreenSquare Estates' maintenance of the area around their homes.
They say they have to pay an annual fee for the upkeep of the play area, verges and green open space but that GreenSquare is failing to adequately maintain them.
The residents have complained about dead trees not being removed, litter, broken kerbing and bollards, and bins not being regularly emptied.
The company denies that it is neglecting the area.
