A TROWBRIDGE secondary school is appealing for second-hand clothes to stage a 'pop-up prom' for its Year 11 pupils.
The Clarendon Academy has issued an appeal for formalwear including prom/bridal dresses or suits.
A spokeswoman said: "Times have been tricky this year but Clarendon are really keen to throw a lovely prom - roadmap out of lockdown permitting - for our Year 11 students.
"We want to ensure that everyone has access to formal wear regardless of income and availability of clothing etc at last minute.
"We are proposing a pop-up prom clothing shopping experience and are looking for any prom/bridesmaid dresses or suits that are currently residing unused in people's wardrobes, that people would wish to donate to the school, for students to be able to access.
"Any excess donations can be used in future years for the same purpose."
To help, please contact flr@clarendonacademy.com if you are able to donate clothing, or drop your donations into the school reception during opening hours.
