Calne Pocket Park has launched a new history trail.
Influential, community-focussed, women feature, including Ellinor Gabriel, a founder of St. Mary’s School, and Caroline Guthrie, founder of Calne's children’s hospital.
The trail also reveals information about scientists Joseph Priestley and Jan Ingenhousz, and author Samuel Taylor Coleridge.
It takes in 19 points of interest covering stages of Calne’s history and heritage on the 1.7 mile route.
The Calne Pocket Park is along the River Marden by Sainsbury’s supermarket.
