POLICE this week appealing for witnesses to a road traffic collision in Broad Hinton last month.

On Saturday, April 17 two motorbikes, a Triumph Street and a Suzuki, were involved in the collision on the A361 at around 12.30pm.

One of the riders suffered significant injuries to his leg which required him to go to Southmead Hospital in Bristol. He has since been released from hospital following surgery.

PC Ben Cox, of the Wiltshire Roads Policing Unit, said: “We are aware that there were witnesses to this collision but they had left the scene prior to officers arriving.

“They could have important information pertinent to this case and I’d urge them to please contact us on 101 and quote crime reference number 54210035710.

“Likewise, anyone else who may have information that could assist us with our enquiries into this collision or dash cam footage then please get in contact.”
