A NEW hand and feet spa has been launched by a Trowbridge beauty therapist who has suffered from a chronic illness since she was aged 13.

Urszula Klimczuk, who moved to the UK from Poland five years ago, created the new spa for people who suffer from chronic health conditions that affect their confidence.

Urszula, 30, said: “I have suffered from a chronic psoriasis since I was 13 years old and also have arthritis. I have worked in the beauty industry for the past ten years.

“I wanted to combine the two to create a new Hand & Feet Spa salon in Trowbridge for people with health conditions too.

“I offer treatments dedicated for people who are struggle with eczema, psoriasis, and chronic illness such as rheumatic disease and anxiety.

“We work on vegan, natural healing, and organic products and provide services based on non-toxic ethic,” said Miss Klimczuk, who runs the Nail Lounge in Stallard Street.

“We have in our menu Ayurvedic ritual treatments for feet and hands, aromatherapy pedicures, callus treatments, treatments improving blood circulations, removing toxins and many more with help to release tension for people.”

Ayurvedic ritual treatments are an alternative medicine system with historical roots in the Indian subcontinent.

Developed more than 3,000 years ago, it’s based on the belief that health and wellness depend on a delicate balance between the mind, body, and spirit.

Miss Klimczuk added: “We also offer a nail style on the plant-sourced varnishes so they can feel pretty too.

“The products we use are safe for people with skin problems so now they can have gel polish without being worried about their health.

“Our aim it to take away our customers’ cares and make them feel relaxed and more confident thanks to the treatments but also improve their health a bit.”
