A Corsham based artist will be hosting an open studio this weekend, at a historic site.
Slaughterford Mill was once on of more than 20 mills on the By Brook, and operated as a paper mill until the 1960s.
It is now home to studios and workshops of number of artists, sculptors, artisans and craftspeople.
Since Karen Crawford and Angus Thompson bought the site in 2009 they have been gradually renovating it so it is suitable for a range of creatives to work from.
Hosted by Anya Beaumont, who is based in Corsham, an event this weekend will also include the work of sculptors, woodwork artists and more.
Their work will be showcased against the backdrop of the historical mill, with new work set among the backdrop of industrial history.
Between Friday July 2 and Sunday July 4, between 12 and 6pm, they are opening their doors to the public; offering a chance for visitors to see what is produced there, see works in progress and visit this extraordinary site.
Slaughterford is described as "a fine example of a rural English village" and visitors will be able to enjoy a cream tea in the grounds of St Nicholas church between 2 and 5pm on Saturday 3, with proceeds going to the church.
Parking is available in the village.
Visitor numbers will be restricted on site and in the studios due to covid restrictions.
