WITNESSES are being sought after three people were seriously injured in a collision on the A36 near Warminster yesterday.
The three-vehicle collision happened at around 8.15am and involved a red Mazda, a silver Mazda and a black Mercedes Vito van.
The driver of the red Mazda, a man in his 20s, was taken to hospital with injuries which were initially believed to be life-threatening. Thankfully, his condition is no longer described as critical but he remains in hospital.
The driver and passenger of the silver Mazda were also taken to hospital with serious leg injuries.
Officers from Wiltshire Police’s Collision Investigation Unit closed a section of the road for around eight hours while they carried out enquiries.
Police said: "We are now asking for anyone who was driving on the section of the A36 that bypasses around Warminster at around 8.15am yesterday, and who may have dash cam footage which could assist our enquiries, to call us on 101, quoting reference 54210072060.
