A WILTSHIRE man and his dog have restarted the Scottish leg of their epic round Britain coastline trek after taking a week off to recover from injury.
Chris McQuillan, 45, of Breton Road, Westbury, was forced to delay their charity Waggy Walk for a week when Moose, his mastiff Labrador cross, developed a limp on his left front leg.
In his daily video log on July 10, Chris said: "His welfare comes first, it always has. I am going to take him back home."
This week, Chris said they had been forced to come back home for a week to allow Moose to rest and recover.
He added: "We are now back in Scotland and have just reached Dundee."
Chris and Moose started the Scottish phase of their 7,500-mile trek on June 27 and are heading north along Scotland's coastline to Dunnet Head, the most northerly point in Britain.
They started their epic challenge from Portishead in North Somerset, on June 29 2018, walking 'anticlockwise' around Britain.
