Fraudsters have struck in Marlborough, stealing more than £3000 from a woman in the town.

The victim, a woman in her 60s, had her purse stolen from her place of work on 20 July last year, by a man who managed to gain access to a secure staff area by walking in through an open door as another member of staff was leaving.
After stealing her bank cards, he then phoned her, posing as a bank employee and managed to persuade her to reveal her pin numbers.
It is not clear how he managed to get her personal phone number.
In total, more than £3,000 was stolen via cash withdrawals at banks across Swindon, before the cards were eventually cancelled by the victim.
A number of witnesses saw the suspect at the woman’s place of work and he is described as white, around 6ft 3ins tall, wearing all black clothing, including shorts, and a black baseball cap.

Here is a CCTV image of a man wanted in connection with this incident.
