RESIDENTS have until next Friday (August 13) to register their comments on plans by Bradford on Avon Cricket Club to install a structure to provide three new cricket lanes.

The club wants to put up a permanent structure at its ground on the Culver Close Playing Fields to create three cricket lanes for players to practice bowling and batting.

The metal structure will measure four metres high by 35 metres long and 12 metres wide.

It will be placed between the existing cricket pitch and the Bradford on Avon public tennis courts next to the pathway.

Some residents have already objected on the grounds of conservation of public green spaces and parkland and because the structure's design includes permanent green metal security fencing.

The closing date for objections is Friday, August 13. To comment, go to https://development.wiltshire.gov.uk/pr/s/planning-application/a0i3z000015t7oYAAQ/pl202106228?tabset-8903c=2
