Olympic silver medallist Sharron Davies has opened a new charity shop for Bath Cats and Dogs Home in Bradford on Avon.
She won her medal in the 400-metre individual medley and took time out of her busy schedule to help support one of her favourite causes.
Sharron, 58, of Bradford on Avon, has just returned to the UK after covering swimming at the Tokyo Olympics.
She visited the new Silver Street shop and said: “I was delighted to pop in and say hi to the team.
"Bath Cats and Dogs Home has long been one of my favourite charities and I am always happy to support their work.
“I’ve seen first hand the great work they do in rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming pets in need. I will certainly be having a clear out and donating some of my things to a good cause.”
Staff at the shop say there are lots of bargains to be found in-store, ranging from high quality adult and children’s clothes, books, games and household items.
If you would like to donate good quality items, do pop in with a bag or just for a browse.
