A Wiltshire woman has appeared in court at Swindon charged with possessing £4,500 which Crown prosecutors allege was acquired through criminal conduct.
Bridget Mary Ward, 30, of Greenacres Mobile Park at Semington, is alleged to have received the cash from a man.
The charge relates to the period April 5-April 10 2019 at Limpley Stoke and says that she “acquired, used or had possession of criminal property, namely funds to the total sum of £4,500 received from the man, knowing or suspecting it to represent in whole or in part and whether directly or indirectly the proceeds of criminal conduct.”
Miss Ward - who is also known as Bridget Rooney - pleaded not guilty to the charge on January 21 2020 and elected summary trial.
She was remanded on conditional bail to September 27 at Swindon Magistrates Court where she appeared on Monday, September 13.
The bench imposed conditions that she live and sleep each night at her home in Semington to prevent interference with witnesses or otherwise obstruct the course of justice.
