CHIPPENHAM MP Michelle Donelan has attended her first-ever Cabinet meeting at No.10 Downing Street.
The local MP was promoted from Universities Minister to Minister for Education in Prime Minister Boris Johnson's Cabinet reshuffle last week.
Miss Donelan is now the number two at the Department for Education headed by Nadhim Zahawi, the new Secretary of State for Education, after Gavin Williamson was sacked.
Miss Donelan said: "It was a massive privilege to be appointed this week as the Minister of State in Education responsible for the skills agenda, further education and higher education working with the Secretary of State Nadhim Zahawi.
"This is an incredibly important role for the delivery of our levelling up agenda both nationally and locally here in Wiltshire."
In case you are wondering, Ms Donelan is on the right closest to the camera.
