A driver escaped unhurt after a car crashed through a garden fence into a shed at the side of a house in Trowbridge on Monday afternoon (September 20).

Emergency services including Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to Wyke Road just after 2pm following reports of a collision involving a Nissan vehicle into the side of an end of terrace property.

A Wiltshire Police spokesman said: “At around 2.05pm today (20/09) we were called to an incident in Wyke Road, Trowbridge, where a vehicle had collided with a residential property.

“Officers attended to assist with a road closure, while the fire service dealt with the collision.

“Nobody is believed to have been injured but police remain at the scene at this time.”

Wiltshire Police closed the road whilst emergency services dealt with the incident.

It is understood the car crashed through a garden fence and into a shed at the side of the house.
