RESIDENTS are gearing up for two weeks of fun and entertainment as the annual Westbury Festival begins on Saturday.
The festival, which takes place from September 25 to October 9, has a packed programme of music, art, drama, fun and entertainment.
There are children's workshops, music, theatre, history, heritage, comedy and overall about 40 events, many of which are free.
A spokesman said: "Our sponsors, of which Westbury Town Council is the principal one, subsidise the free events including our very popular lunchtime concerts at All Saints Church."
The festival kicks off with the Wiltshire Chilli Fest from 1pm to 7pm on Saturday in the High Street and Edward Street, followed by an Aldbourne Brass Band concert at 7.30pm at All Saints Church.
