CHIPPENHAM: Simon Paul Clewes, 43, of Charter Road, was sent for trial by jury at Swindon Crown Court on October 15 2021. He faces three charges of making indecent photographs of children at Chippenham between June 22 2019 and September 6 2020. Police allege that 197 images were Category A, 103 were Category B and 369 were Category C. No plea was indicated. He is on unconditional bail.

CHIPPENHAM: Dominic Pratt, 25, of Tugela Road, was sent for trial at Swindon Crown Court on October 15 2021 on unconditional bail. He is charged with causing a serious injury to a man on March 31 2020 by driving dangerously on the A3102 at Beaversbrook Road at Calne. No plea was indicated.

MALMESBURY: Molly May Carvey, 34, of Foundry Road, was banned from driving for 17 months, fined £120 and ordered to pay £34 to victim services and £85 costs after pleading guilty to a drink-driving charge at Royal Wootton Bassett on August 15 2021. A collection order was made.

CHIPPENHAM: Gary Mark Holmes, 33, of Charter Road, was fined £615 and ordered to pay £62 to victim services and £85 costs after pleading guilty to sending threatening and abusive phone calls and text messages to a man in Chippenham on March 11 2021 for the purpose of causing distress and anxiety. A collection order was made.

CALNE: Kenneth Embling, 62 of Briar Leaze, Compton Bassett, was told to pay £119 compensation and £85 costs after he pleaded guilty to damaging a doorbell worth £119 belonging to a woman in Compton Bassett on February 19 2021. A collection order was made.

CORSHAM: Alison Carol Bowyer, 65, of Charles Street, was charged with using threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour at Chippenham on May 24 2021 within the hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress. She was also charged with three separate offences of assaulting two male police officers and one female police officer on the same date. No plea was indicated. Her case was adjourned to October 27 2021 at Swindon.

ROYAL WOOTTON BASSETT: Olamilekan Akintunde Akinole-Odebode, 30, of Otter Way, was given a six-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £85 costs and £22 to victim services after pleading guilty to using threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour likely to cause a person harassment, alarm or distress at Swindon on August 15 2021. A collection order was made.

MELKSHAM: Gareth David Dicks, 40, of Corn Cockle Close, was banned from driving for 12 months, fined £360 and ordered to pay £85 and £36 to victim services after pleading guilty to a drug-driving charge on the Holt Road, Bradford on Avon, on January 23 2021. A collection order was made.

CORSHAM: Paul Mark Poulton, 58, of Oathills, was fined £100 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £34 to victim services after pleading guilty to failing to report an accident involving an Audi Q7 at B&Q, Bath Road, Chippenham, on March 21 2021. His driving licence was endorsed with five penalty points.

CALNE: Alex Christian Day, 25, of King Edward Close, was banned from driving for one month, fined £100 and ordered to pay £34 to victim services after pleading guilty to driving while disqualified at Avebury on October 28 2020. He also pleaded guilty to driving an Audi Q3 with no third party insurance on the same date, for which there was no separate penalty.

CALNE: Leah Few, 21, of King Edward Close, was fined £20 and ordered to pay £34 to victim services and her driving licence endorsed with three points after pleading guilty to permitting Alex Day to use an Audi Q3 without third party insurance on October 28 2020 at Avebury. There was no order for costs.

CALNE: Lisa Claire Joyce, 45, of Larkspur Drive, is charged with speeding at 54mph in a 30mph limit in a Peugeot 3008 on the London Road in Marlborough on February 8 2020. No plea was indicated.

MARLBOROUGH: Alexandru Catalin Gabriel Dinu, 30, of the Polly Tea Rooms, High Street, is charged with three separate offences of assaulting three women by beating at Marlborough on June 6 2021. The case is a first listing. No pleas were indicated.
