WILTSHIRE Wildlife Trust is urging people across the county to challenge themselves to take part in the Big Wild Walk later this month.
The walk is being held to help fundraise for the charity to tackle the nature and climate emergency which has become part of everyday life.
As the event is running between Monday, October 25 and Sunday, October 31 it’s the ideal activity for all the family, as it coincides with the October half-term break.
In honour of the World Wildlife Trust’s mission to restore and protect 30 per cent of land and seas for wildlife by 2030, they’re asking nature-lovers to take on one of three challenges.
Individuals and families can choose to walk 30 kilometres in one week, 30km in three days, or 30km in one day. Alternatively, participants can make their own 30 by 30-themed challenge.
