TROWBRIDGE Town Council is expected to make decisions in the next few weeks about the development of its new four-year strategy leading up to the next scheduled local elections in 2025.
The Liberal Democrat-controlled council has been working on the strategy since winning control in May.
Having completed many significant investment projects in recent years, the final one will be the £2.2 million 3G Artificial Turf Pitch at Doric Park, home to Trowbridge Rugby Club, which is due for completion in the first term.
The new strategy will be based on the following three themes:
• A greener Trowbridge
• A more active Trowbridge
• A more vibrant Trowbridge
The new strategy is due to be presented to a meeting of the town council’s policy and resources committee on Tuesday, November 2.
It is expected to receive final approval a fortnight later at a full council meeting on Tuesday, November 16.
