A PAGEANT contestant who represented Wiltshire has been placed in the top 10 in a national final.

Destinie-Mae Greenland, 19, was competing in the Miss Teen Great Britain final held on Monday at The Globe Theatre.

The former Clarendon Academy School pupil said: “I received the beautifully inspiring award for my work during my 18 months as Miss Teen Wiltshire.

“I also got a special mention for my fundraising, as I raised £1,084 for Together for Short Lives.

“I had such an amazing time and I am now deciding what my next steps are with pageantry.”

Miss Greenland was due to take part in the national final in October last year but it was postponed because of the Covid-19 pandemic restrictions.
