Due to public demand, mother and son duo Anne and John Wyles are expanding their popular canal-side business in Honeystreet set in the beautiful Pewsey Vale.

They have now opened Honeystreet Mill Food, a farmshop-style space to complement their thriving and acclaimed Honeystreet Mill Café.

Anne said: “We have traded well through the pandemic, welcoming tourists, cyclists, bikers, walkers and local customers to the café with terrace looking onto the canal.

“Now, in response to customer demand, we wanted to offer the community locally-produced, Fairly Traded, delicious goodies to take home, so we decided to open Honeystreet Mill Food and stock it with jams, chutneys, local eggs and gifts.”

Honeystreet Mill Food was officially opened by local MP Danny Kruger. Mr Kruger reflected that, despite the pandemic, it was inspiring to see a rural business flourishing and providing employment for local young people whilst also enhancing the world-renowned tourist sites which are the vale and the canal.

As thoughts turn to Christmas co-owner John Wyles has been tasked with testing some of the yuletide treats. “The Christmas cake slices we have in stock are absolutely delicious and there are plenty of other gift ideas to tempt our lovely customers,” he said.
