ONE driver was issued with two fixed penalty notices for speeding and for having an expired MOT after police carried out speed checks in Warminster and Westbury on Monday evening.
Special Police Constables Manning and Crozier from the Warminster Area Community Policing Team conducted speed enforcement at Portway, Warminster and The Mead, Westbury.
In total, five vehicles were seen to be exceeding the speed limit, four drivers were provided with suitable words of advice, with one driver being issued a fixed penalty notice for excess speed - the same driver was also issued with a fixed penalty notice for an expired MOT.
Civilian enforcement officers, the Neighbourhood Policing Team, SPCs and Roads Policing Unit, continue to conduct speed checks across the wider Warminster, Westbury, Tisbury and Mere areas, in support of Community Speedwatch.
