TROWBRIDGE Town Council is to go ahead with this year's civic dinner after a two-year gap because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Town mayor Cllr Denise Bates will host the Annual Civic Dinner and Dance this year as she continues to raise money for her local chosen charities.
Taking place on Saturday, March 5 at Trowbridge Civic Centre, the ‘Enchanted Forest’ themed event will raise money for Dorothy House Hospice and Bath Cancer Unit Support Group through raffles, charity auctions and donations.
Achievements within the town will be recognised by the presentation of both the Civic Award and the Town Enhancement Award.
Islington Motor Group through Trowbridge Ford and Allsworth Flooring will co-sponsor the event.
