The demand for more new housing in Wiltshire continues to rise, as 84 of the 123 private homes at a new development have now already been sold.

Work at Bellway’s Quakers Walk in Devizes will soon end, as nearly all of the properties are now sold.

Sales Manager for Bellway South West, Christel Hawkins, said: “Quakers Walk is meeting the growing need for housing in Wiltshire, and the fact that most of the homes we have sold at this development have been bought by people from within the county reflects this.

“Buyers here appreciate the quality of the build and customer service available, which is demonstrated by the fact that we’ve been rated as a five-star builder by the Home Builders Federation for the past five years – that means more than 90 per cent of our customers say they would recommend us to a friend or family member.

Devizes seems to be the place to be for homeowners, as the housebuilder believes that the prime location is what has got the homes selling like hotcakes.

Hawkins added that it is “within a mile of the town centre which makes it easy for residents to visit the many independent shops.”
